My name is Christian Werner, I am researcher with a background in Digital Media and Applied Geoinformatics currently based at the University of Salzburg, Austria. In autumn 2024 I successfully defended my dissertation. Since 2019 I work at the Mobility Lab research group within the Department of Geoinformatics.
My main research interests revolve around geospatial methods, geospatial application development and network analysis in context of sustainable mobility. I aim at transferring methods and findings from scientific research into tangible tools and decision support systems. I gained 2.5 years of work experience in the field of software development and interaction design, which I extended within several research projects as well as contracted research and development.
